This year’s Aviation Africa Summit and Exhibition 2024 is happening on September 16 & 17, 2024, at Gauteng’s Sandton Convention Centre. The two-day event is taking place concurrently with AfBAA (African Business Aviation Association) and is indeed, one of the region's biggest gatherings for the aviation sector.

What is the Aviation Africa Summit & Exhibition 2024 About?

“BRIDGING SKIES AND LEVERAGING GROWTH,” is the Aviation Africa Summit & Exhibition theme this year, which focuses on overcoming the struggles in improving connectivity across Africa.

Invited speakers will highlight the challenges caused by delays in advancing the aviation industry and how certain nations and carriers are leading a renewed push for progress in the industry.

Aviation Africa 2024 is an avenue to foster partnerships, discuss investment opportunities and explore the latest advancements in the aviation industry—across airports, airlines and business aviation.

Who Will Be Attending?

Attending exhibitors and participants include leaders, representatives and experts from different airlines, regulators, airports, OEMs, and various companies across the support and supply chain.

South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has prepared a gala dinner reception on the evening of the opening day that key delegates can enjoy. This offers a chance to network with other delegates in a more relaxed setting.

Note: All attendees must obtain accreditation from state security at the Sandton Sun Hotel before attending Aviation Africa at the Sandton Convention Centre. Accreditation will be available on September 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17.
