Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager in Istanbul, Turkey, to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

HADID is an aviation service provider operating within a fast-paced, innovative and complex global industry.

The successful candidate must possess strong sales qualities and business acumen. They are expected to establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with top decision-makers and prospective customers. They should be able to identify sales opportunities to generate new leads in the target region. In addition, they are expected to monitor customer preferences to ensure their expectations are exceeded. They should demonstrate a keenness to attract new customers whilst conducting market and competitor analyses.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute dynamic sales strategies to stimulate business development and growth
  • Achieve and maximise sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and initiatives
  • Develop close relationships with aircraft operators, government agencies, companies, individuals, sports clubs, entertainment groups etc.
  • Compile and produce monthly and quarterly sales reports and forecasts
  • Provide support in the preparation of business development forecasts and budgets
  • Negotiate annual contracts and pricing with customers
  • Attend to enquiries (RfQ / technical) by telephone, email and site visits as and when required


Skills & Competencies:

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree / MBA or equivalent with an emphasis on aviation and/or business is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Turkish skills are mandatory
  • Must have a strong background and proven track record in flight support / General Aviation / Commercial Aviation
  • Must possess strong business communication, sales and marketing skills
  • Ability to develop close relationships at operational and executive levels
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, to manage multiple priorities and to work effectively in time-critical situations
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a collaborative and multinational team
  • Must be open minded with a positive outlook, results driven and highly motivated

  • Providing pre-flight consultations
  • Conducting route analyses
  • Arranging worldwide ground handling services
  • Coordinating with CAA's, agents, handlers and associated third party vendors to follow up specific requests 
  • Working in a team to coordinate high quality services for corporate business jets, commercial carriers, ambulance flights and government VIP flights
  • Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Skills & Competencies:

  • Verbal and written fluency in both English and Mandarin
  • Detail oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of Galileo is advantageous
  • Good understanding of aviation concierge services

  • Instigate dynamic sales strategies to stimulate business development and growth Identify new business initiatives and opportunities
  • Develop close relationships with regular aircraft operators; government agencies, companies, individuals, sports clubs, entertainment groups etc.
  • Support the preparation of business development forecasts and budgets by producing monthly sales forecast and reports
  • Assist plan and negotiate annual contracts and prices with customers
  • Support and handle incoming enquiries (RfQ/technical) by telephone, e-mail and site visits when required
  • Achieve personal KPI’s and business development targets. Secondary language is advantageous

Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have a strong background and proven effectiveness in the area of flight support business
  • Will be required to illustrate effective sales impact and results
  • Experienced in resolving conflicts and disputes as and when they arise
  • Must be results driven and motivated
