To lead charter sales and business development initiatives in order to position the company as a market leader in the field of aircraft charter operations facilitation.

To ensure; the effective integration of charter sales and operations within the key support and administrative functions of the company.


Major Duties and Accountabilities

  • Worldwide market analysis in order to identify and pursue aircraft charter business development opportunities,
  • Analyse economic situation worldwide,
  • Activation of a dynamic sales strategy in order stimulate business development and growth,
  • Close collaboration with aircraft operators to ensure the delivery of services that meet customer requirements and expectations,
  • The development of close relationships with regular aircraft charter users; government agencies, companies, individuals, sports clubs, entertainment groups etc.,
  • The preparation of business development forecasts and budgets,
  • Work with current flight support service clients in order to develop a mutually beneficial charter business opportunity,
  • The development of a system to promote the selling of empty leg capacity,
  • Achievement of personal KPI’s and business development targets,
  • The setting of rates and incentive programme initiatives.


Secondary responsibilities

  • Continuous monitoring of competitor activities,
  • Represent the company at trade events,
  • Respond to client concerns and complaints to ensure the immediate resolution of whatever the issues are,
  • Create and maintain a data base of clients and suppliers,
  • Track trends responding where a downturn in client activity is identified,
  • Undertake additional duties on behalf of the management as and when required.

Personal attributes and experience required

  • Attained a higher level education standard, ideally a degree in business management of similar,
  • Has the knowledge and strategy required to 'close the deal',
  • Must display a high level of personal motivation and positivity to the development of business,
  • Must have a strong background and proven effectiveness in the area of aircraft charter business development,
  • Must be results driven and motivated,
  • Is required to have a strong background and high level of experience of aircraft operations, flight planning etc.,
  • Will be required to illustrate effective sales impact and results,
  • Will be smart in appearance, highly presentable and personable in order to represent the company with clients and authorities at the highest level,
  • Will be a self-starter able to work independently and as a member of a team in a fully effective manner,
  • Experience in contract construction and legal compliance,
  • Experienced in resolving conflicts and disputes as and when they arise.
